How to Create Your Design Using Canva
To start designing, create a free Canva account by visiting www.canva.com.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Click Create a Design on the homepage.
- Select the appropriate design option (e.g., business card, flyer, letterhead).
- Click Uploads to upload your images.
- Choose Layouts to add a template to your page or create your own.
- Drag and drop your images onto the design.
- Click Add a new page if you need multiple pages.
- Once your design is complete, click Share in the top right corner, enter canva@ctrlp.co.za, and ensure “Can Edit" is selected.
Additional Design Tips:
- Add text and choose from over 130 fonts.
- Customize the text box color for extra flair.
- Modify the background to suit your design.
- Use grids, filters, frames, and effects to enhance images.
- Upload your own images or choose from over 1,000 free templates and stock images.
🚨 Important: Avoid placing text and images too close to the edge to prevent them from being cut off during the finishing process.
